About us

Named after both the Roman goddess of wisdom's pet owl, and her inclusion in the Philosopher Georg Wilhelm Friedrich Hegel's famous quote "the owl of Minerva spreads its wings only with the falling of the dusk", Minerva's Owl is committed to the democratization of knowledge through the tutoring process, striving to engender a new dawn of academic achievement in all of its students.

Our Mission

To reach as many students across the world as possible, provide exceptional academic support, and inspire brilliant highschoolers to better their local community by sharing their knowledge.

Our Values

At our core, we are dedicated to global education, providing unwavering support, and fostering a community where brilliant minds illuminate the path to positive change.

Our Organization

Minerva’s Owl is organized into local chapters, each with their own chapter leader. A chapter leader is responsible for managing the tutors for their regional chapter, contacting students, and growing their chapter. Chapter leaders undergo a rigorous screening process, with the most successful being established leaders in their school community. Tutors themselves meet with students at least twice a week for an hour to help them with academic subjects ranging from STEM to the humanities.
